dear diary,
i am attending a conference. in the past, i talked to people i knew, and i was afraid to talk to new people.
today, as i went looking for another person, i spotted the keynote speaker. i walked up to him, waited for his conversation with a couple of other people to end, MADE EYE CONTACT WITH HIM, SMILED, and we had a great chat. i even introduced my colleague to him.
ha ha ha.
